Troubleshooting

View Apple Business portal and API production status on the Apple System Status page.

If you encounter any issues during or after your integration process, contact the Apple Business support team that aligns with the issue and onboarding phase. See Reporting API Related Issues.

If you encounter issues with location data in production, see Reporting Maps Display Issues.

To report issues related to the Business API:

  • Gather all relevant information about the issue.
  • Prepare a detailed description of the problem.
  • Submit your report to Business API Support.

Important submission guidelines:

  • Include complete API request and response details.
  • Specify the environment used (API integration, data qualification, or production).
  • Provide any error messages or unexpected behaviors observed.

Required information for each issue:

Reporting Maps Display Issues

To report issues with locations displayed on Apple Maps:

  1. Download the Location issue template (Excel).
  2. Fill in one row for each issue (use separate rows if multiple issues affect a single location).
  3. Submit the completed spreadsheet to Apple Business Data Support.

Important submission guidelines:

  • Please include locations from multiple organizations and brands in a single spreadsheet.
  • Always use this template, even when reporting a single issue.
  • Submissions without the correctly formatted template will be rejected.

Required information for each issue:
