Prerequisites

Before working with BCID workflows, review the Prerequisites and Constraints in the overview.

Process Flows

Create BCID Resource (via Partner Platform)

API user may be one of the following:

• A user associated with the Owner organization and assigned sufficient privileges.
• A Partner acting under delegated authority or OAuth shared access granted by the Owner organization.

Preconditions

• OAuth shared access has been granted by the Owner organization to the Partner.
• The phone number has already been vetted by the CAP. A CAP will request resource creation only after completing its vetting process.

Create BCID Resource (via Apple Business Portal (Future))

API user may be one of the following:

• A user associated with the Owner organization and assigned sufficient privileges.
• A Partner acting under delegated authority.

Move BCID Resource

API user may be one of the following:

• A user associated with the Owner organization and assigned sufficient privileges.
• A Partner acting under delegated authority or OAuth shared access granted by the Owner organization.
